lyrics

Silent night, solemn plight,
Soldiers gone, to fields and fight
Families yearn for dawn's first light.
Yet war's dark shadows hide the light
Cry for peace in our time,
Praying love outshines the might
2
Silent night, war's cruel blight,
Factories roar, devoid of light.
Building arms, in endless streams,
Shattering countless, peaceful dreams.
Why do we craft these tools of pain?
Silent night, question in vain.
3
Silent night, holy night,
Battles rage, out of sight.
Underneath the same bright star.
In the glare of bombs afar,
Grieving hearts bear the scar.
Pray for those torn apart,

Hoping for peace to restart.
4
Silent night, mournful night,
Lost are many, in the fight.
Wishing for love's pure embrace,
Away from war's relentless chase.
Yearn for calm at war's end,
Yearn for calm at war's end.

Silent night, fractured light,
Silent night, endless night.
Silent night, fractured light,
Silent night, solemn plight.
